Renault gearboxes include a wide variety of manual, automatic, dual-clutch (EDC), and CVT transmissions, depending on the model, year, and engine. Renault also shares gearbox technology with Nissan and Dacia as part of the Alliance, meaning some gearboxes are cross-branded and use similar fluids and components.
