Hyundai Head Blocks

The term “head block” typically refers to one of the following:
Cylinder Head: The upper engine part — contains valves, camshafts, injectors (sometimes), sensors.

Engine Block: The lower part — contains pistons, crankshaft, oil passages.
Long Block (Head Block Assembly): Pre-assembled unit of cylinder head + engine block — used for direct engine replacement or rebuilds.
